I wish I had the kind of money to be able to buy this collection, but like most of you I don't. :(
I remember about a year or so ago there was an auction on eBay for the entire NES collection all complete in boxes, and factory sealed (I believe). I know it went for a lot but can't remember exactly how much. Man, that was definitely my dream, wish I would have been able to afford that.
seriously, that is an insane collection. i wonder how much $ that guy spent aquiring all those games? And really, why would you even try to collect EVERY nes game? a good portion of them are complete garbage, borderline broken. even if i had the $, i dont have room for something like that. and i would rather not own the worst NES games. I will stick to buying the most fun NES games and for the lowest price possible. The other day i got 3 nes games at a yard sale for $7 (super mario 3, ninja turtles 1 , and ninja turtles 2) but paying over $10 for any 1 nes game is a ripoff if u ask me.
Aww damn Talldude beat me to it. Something like a full collection from ANY console doesnt even interest me. I have 20-50 games listed for each console I have played alot of and there are only a handful I would want to replay a second time.. 8-9k is STUPID. Most games are complete garbage and if they are good only worth playing through once. If sombody pays that much for them good for that guy. I'd rather get a dope tv, a killer computer, and some MMORPG's and a few years worth of broadband for 8-9k lol.
That's pretty sweet, yet at the same time I don't really care. 60% of th NES's games are total garbage. Look up the Angry Nintendo Nerd on Youtube. He'll set you straight :P
