I recently installed call of duty black ops 2 on windows xp. And when i was running the executable file an error occurred saying dxgi.dll is missing. Then I downloaded that file from the internet and copied it to the game directory. Now whenever i'm trying to run the game an error occurs saying "The procedure entry point _except_handler4_common could not be located in the dynamic link library msvcrt.dll" I tried everything i could but nothing's working. I deleted that msvcrt.dll file and my whole system crashed. I had to format the computer and install windows again. But this error keeps displaying. I tried installing black ops 2 on windows 7 but whenever i double click on the executable file nothing happens. At least it doesnt display an error message. I'm fed up with all these problems. So if anyone can help me to solve this problem i would appreciate it.

Right click (on Windows 7) and hit "Run As Administrator."
