BF1 vs COD IW

IW looks horrible, generic and boring. I'm not a huge fan of the Battlefield games but at least the setting looks great and its grabbedy attention.

I always preferred the Call of Duty games and I really liked what I've seen on Infinite Warfare so that's my pick. Battlefield 1 does look cool and I'll likely try that one out as well.

BF1 is a day-one buy for me, no doubt.

CoD, well, I don't hate CoD but it needs to either be a rare standout (and that has not happened since CoD 4) or extreme discount, and Activision rarely offers good discounts or price reductions on anything.

Getting messages from random people on Call of Duty because I dared to kill them is why I won't be buying it. Not a big fan of online games where co-op is ignored either.

Never played a Battlefield game before but this one looks interesting and I'll have friends to play with also

Wont get any. I'm not a fan of games that split up the community.

Both aren't out yet so i don't get this weird question. of course people will be more curious about BF1 than annual series of games and so do i.

but it does'nt mean anything about which game is going to be better.

I'm assuming battlefield won't have single player, will it at least have bots?

What makes you think it won't have single player campaign?

Battlefields traditionally didn't have it. The recent trend is to include it, but they shouldn't; if it's not epic enough, it will only lower the overall scores of reviews, and it will NOT be epic, since the focus is much more heavily in the multiplayer.

They should focus 100% on the multiplayer, and not waste resources on a half-assed campaign. If people want singleplayer, Battlefield is the wrong game to be looked at in the first place. Look for something else.

I pre-ordered Battlefield 1.I have little to no interest in Call of Duty games anymore.

I didn't think this franchise did single player campaigns but I could be mistaken. It does seem to be the trend nowadays to sell you an online only game. I imagine it's much easier and cheaper to make a game if you don't worry about a campaign or programming AI. I think it's rather cheap and wouldn't pay full price for that but that is just my personal opinion. What seems really extreme is the fact that so many developers cant even give you bots! Not having playstation plus or whatever its called keeps me from being able to play ANYTHING. We should demand just a little bit more I think. Still don't know whether my rant pertains to this particular game though. Enlighten me someone!

@mark1974: I can ensure you i won't buy this game no matter how great it's gonna be if it won't include a single player campaign.. seems very strange to me.
