sorry, i misread what you put i see now that the uk second edition is the standard for all other countries.
the playstation controller (with or without analog) is my favourite, , people still like that controller 14 years after its introduction
The mega Drive controller is also pretty damn good.
i hated the original Xbox controller
i think the n64 controller was the best ,
it had 17 buttons more then any other controller in the past even more then ones in present
a analog stick
rumble pak accessory and more
saturn wouldnt get my pick because that doesnt have a good l or r button
the ps1/2 and gc controllers also is great nes would be the best
