My friend is disabled, he can't push buttons a lot or handle fast action games/adrenaline. What are the best games for him? He loves Peggle, Carcassone, & Walking Dead, but is tired of them.

I suppose he could play slower-paced genres, e.g. turn-based RPG's, turn-based strategy games, adventure games, visual novels, puzzle games, etc.

Some systems and preferences would be cool. As others have said, RPG/ strategy games and the like would seem to suit this person well.

PS3, 360, Wii, SNES. He can't play story intensive games because he can't remember anything. He's also dying so he wants to play best games first.

Oh man, sorry to year that yo.

A few absolutely calm, great, (and a few favorites) games are:

Poker Night 2 at the Inventory

Journey

Limbo

Flower

Harvest Moon

Hot Shots Golf (really great on PS3)

If we can get games that are quite calm and easy paced but a little more intensive:

Prince of Persia 2008 (I love this game)

Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess/Skyward Sword (admittedly, a friend suggested these)

Boom Blox on Wii, perhaps

Brothers A Tale of Two Sons

Viva Pinata

Minecraft

Animal Crossing

Lost Odyssey

If I remember more, I'll add them

Damn man, sorry to hear that :(

The issue here is that most games that are slower paced games are games that rely heavily on story- on the other hand, those that aren't as story based require twitch reflexes.

I would actually advise starting with some of the later Kirby games, like Kirby's Epic Yarn. It's a game that doesn't have much of a story basis, and it doesn't require precision platforming like other similar games either.

Another great one would be Prince of Persia 2008- even without the story element, its mechanics are simply a joy, and he should be able to enjoy it without any stress.

Finally, get him to try Animal Crossing City Folk- no story, stress free game that requires minimal player skill, it's actually a really great game that he should hopefully be able to get into.

You might want to try Pokemon Battle Revolution as well, assuming he is into Pokemon. It's not a great game, but Pokemon battles are always fun, and it is completely turn based, so no pressure on that front either.

Maybe you could look into other adventure games made by Telltale (the same people who made Walking Dead) like Back To The Future perhaps.
