during the era of the psx/saturn/n64 what were the best games in the popular genres?

I really liked Blasto and Medievil when I was little. I still think they are good games even today.

Chrono Cross, Final Fantasy VII, Legend of Mana, So many platformers such as Medieval, Wild 9, Crash Bandicoot etc. Cant remember all of them there were just too many great games.
