Best end to a game ever??

So, we all spend hours upon hours with these games that we love, and we all know that if the ending is garbage, its a huge let down. On the other end, there are those endings that are completely worth not only the $5-60 shelled out for the game, but also the 100+ hours some of us spend on certain games....So, whats your favorie ending, ever (without giving spoilers)???

For me, FFX's ending is about the best Ive experienced...After 100+ hours invested in those characters, it was a gut wrencing ending, both happy and very sad.....Its lame, but I cried. Not only cried, but tried to force myself to sit through FFX-2 for 20 hours before quitting and finding its ending on Youtube.

To those who say MSG 4.....Do you feel like youve got to finish all of the other MGSs before this one to fully appreciate the ending?? Ive finished MGS1, played part of 2 & 3, and am in act 4 of #4......its a little confusing, and I know Im missing alot, but not as much as I expected.....should I finish the others 1st and replay 4?

My favorite ending was probably The World Ends with You, for reasons I won't spoil. But the ending is pretty emotional.

For best ending fight, I think it had to be No More Heroes, but I won't spoil it. It's just such a perfectly-matched fight.

Gunstar Hereos. It ain't meat, whatever I do won't spoil it. The last stage sets up like this. Every boss in the game comes back and fights you in an upgraded machine in a series of increasingly difficult battles culminating in a very tiring battle with a gold fellow. The end is welcome and the sense of accomplishment is overwhelming.

Sonic 1 where he runs through the Emerald Hill Zone with all his animal friends...
then gives the camera a little 'peace' sign XD

MGS4. The ending to that game is perfection.

Also, Conkers Bad Fur Days ending was kinda sad/happy, but still good :?.

Well it didn't really have an ending, or an epic one if you consider a cliffhanger an ending. ;P

I did absolutely love it for xboxlive however.

MGS3 is absolutelly fabulous as well.

FF8, FFX, Riddick:Escape from Butcher Bay, Shadow of Destiny, all have great epilogues.

i liked shadow of the colollus' ending the most. but just for laughs, re4's B-movie ending was pretty funny.

I think God of War 2 is the best I've seen. Mainly because it sets up a mouth-watering 3rd instalment

Metal Gear Solid 4 is in my opinion the best ending ever.

Crisis core, you knew what was going to happen, yet it was still a very sad ending.
