Best Call of duty game

Cod 2 and Cod:Big red one were two different games (B.R.O was Cod3 btw)

The only ones I like are COD 2 and AW

Campaign-wise, MW2 is unrivaled. Extra content-wise MW3 is pretty spectacular. Multiplayer-wise, Ghosts was the better balanced one since CoD4, at least in my opinion.

i liked modern warfare 3 where they were attacking USS Obama i felt like i was in the middle of a real war and we were in the future an stuff

i also like black ops 2 where you go into this club and dub step is playing and your just having a blast

i played mw2 and just didnt like it as much as those 2

i am one of the oldschool series just the WW2 and the first MW

Had a great campaign, invented nazi zombies and had f---ing tanks.

Agreed, I don't understand why Ghost get all the hate! Anyway, COD: MW was my overall favorite, followed by MW2, WAW and finally Ghost.

I'm not even in the market to get COD: Titan Fall! lol

I loved modern warfare 2 and world at war but I think that's largely because of my experience rather than just the game itself.

That being said, don't waste your time buying them on steam today. They've been abandoned by the developers so all the matchmaking is private hosts. World at War is a nightmare and Mw2 is nothing but hackers and quickscope lobbies.

CoD 1, and to a lesser extent United Offense and CoD 2. I stopped caring after that.

Apparently the game had unreasonably high system requirements on PC and multiplyer may not have been fucntioning properly on release across the board. That's my guess from what I've read. Either that or people really like Black Ops 2... for some reason.

Yup. OP is missing the best two CoD games IMO - CoD 1 & 2.

WAW, MW and Black ops were awesome

COD4 and WaW were equal imo, though I prefered COD4 more. The tanks were awesome, till people started whining about them and Treyarch took them out of hardcore. Whiney people kill games.

The original and United Offensive were clearly the best.

I still think MW2 is the best, considering that it introduced so many new concepts and mechanics that influenced the game, though i do still see it as the turning point in the series

COD 2. I liked MWF a lot. Apart from WAW and Black Ops, others look like trash to me. Didn't even touch COD for over 3 years now.

Best Call of Duty game campaign-wise? You know it! Modern Warfare 2! But Black Ops 2 also deserves a mention for its choices and multiple endings. Coop-wise? Advanced Warfare! You get Spec Ops Survival from Modern Warfare 3 AND Exo Zombies! Before AW, it was MW3, which gave you Spec Ops Survival(which I still like more than the AW version) AND coop missions. Wouldn't know about multiplayer.

Black Ops, best zombie maps, plus they released the old zombie maps. Awesome game

I love all the ones I've played, but Modern Warfare 3 is still the one that stands out the most.

I really enjoyed Call of Duty 4 and Modern Warfare 1 and 2 for their campaign modes, I'm not really big on multiplayer games in general so I didn't play them for that. Sure the campaigns in the Call of Duty games are short and nothing special, but it's fun to blast through them on a weekend and blow crap up.

I love how ghosts got 0% lol

COD WAW is my favorite by a considerable margin. I honestly never really liked any of the games before or after that one, but something about WaW really resonated with me...I spent more time on both the campaign and multiplayer of that game than any other game in the series combined.

I haven't played them all, but I found myself enjoying Modern Warfare 2 the most. This is most likely because it was my first modern Call of Duty game and spent the most time playing it. All of the CoD games I've played since then have felt a bit stale.

Call of Duty 2, I don't even think this is debatable.

MW2 and World at War are my favorites as far as the campaign goes. I've had the most fun with multiplayer in BO1, MW3 and, to a lesser extent, CoD 4. For some reason, I suck at the multiplayer in BO2 and Ghosts, so I don't play those two as much. Although BO2's campaign is pretty sweet. I actually like having hitmarkers in the campaign. :P Never really got into MW2 multiplayer either, and World at War is nothing but hackers unfortunately.

I don't care for the rest, and think MW3 and Ghosts were awful. I personally believe that treyarch is the better of the developers working on CoD and this year is the first time since BO2 I was excited for a CoD game.
