I don't know what the BAFTA is but the list seems weird to me.

As much as I like Divinity: Original Sin II the multiplayer is very clunky, not the best from last year, though easily the best RPG.

And Hellblade seems to have won more awards than probably deserved. . . hmm_

Cuphead probably deserved Artistic, and given Music to Nier: Automata would have made more sense.

@RSM-HQ: The BAFTAs are the British Academy of Film and Television Awards. It’s the British equivalent of the Oscars.

Now, video games have their version of it.

@Starshine_M2A2: Oh cool, I like some England/ Scottish games/ developers (Team 17 and Media Molecule), however a lot of these picks don't seem to be from the country hosting them. . . Guess that's not a rule though.

You'd think Wipeout Omega would get some love being Studio Liverpools final game last year, and well received from what I could tell, even got a VR version this year.

Well at anycase, guess that's why Hellblade got a lot of praise here, it's developed in that side of Europe and we too commonly take Europe for granted when it comes to games.

Fallout 3 was BAFTA awarded back in the day. The most decorated and the best Fallout game. Fact.

Mind you, these days BAFTAs are very, whats the word, commercial awards, in that they are usually given to those that support the BAFTA organisation the most. You scratch my back, we give you awards, sort of thing.
