I am pretty sure more would name PC games, and for consoles i am also pretty sure much more would say Ninja Gaiden or Splinter cell. Are they?

Well, if you're going to include PC games in the discussion then it gets a little blurry, when it comes to what would still count as the "6th generation". The PC doesn't upgrade like that, so you'd pretty much just have to go on a timeline I guess, and even though the Xbox 360 and PS3 were coming out like 2005-2006, there were still games being released on the PS2 much later. But anyway, I'd say, if late 2005 would still count as that generation for PC games, then F.E.A.R. has to make the cut. Other than that, on the consoles, RE4 was huge, but so was MGS3, and Ninja Gaiden, and Gran Turismo 3 and 4. I would actually have to cast my vote for MGS3 as the console king.
Half-Life 2 was pretty tonned-down on the Xbox in comparison with the PC version, visually. Still looked impressive but I'd say RE4 had the more consistent visuals. It was the unmatched physics that were more impressive in H-L2 for Xbox. It's also not that easy to pick just one or two "best-looking" games of that console era since art-style is just as important as the technical side is (for example Wind Waker and Okami more than make up for what they lack in texture sharpness with their artistic directions).
But if we're taking pure technical graphics, I think Doom 3 and Chaos Theory on the Xbox take the crown (on the consoles, but also on the PC at the time of their release).
Toss up between Far Cry, Half-Life 2, Doom III, and Chronicles of Riddic. I don't consider F.e.a.r apart of the 6th generations because if I did I would have to consider COD2 as well. And COD2 probably looks better.
Wrath of Cortex looks better than that.I would say Conker: Live and Reloaded is
Up the resolution and it could pass for a current gen game.

I had completely forgotten about Doom 3 and Far Cry. Great looking games of the time. And I think F.E.A.R. should count. It was released on PC before the Xbox 360 or PS3 were released. It beat the 360 by less than a month.
Just Cause on the xbox looks great.I had completely forgotten about Doom 3 and Far Cry. Great looking games of the time. And I think F.E.A.R. should count. It was released on PC before the Xbox 360 or PS3 were released. It beat the 360 by less than a month.

I've been playing Ninja Gaiden Black recently on my Xbox-1 and I have to really put it up there on the list. Every thing is smooth (anti-aliasing), the texture work is pretty damn good and the whole thing runs at a silky 60fps. Most of last gens games looked fine on my old 34 inch TV, but not so hot on my 50. NGB even on the 50 inch looks great.
last i checked REmake in 2002 had better graphics then RE4 in 2004

Depends what is better to you - high-poly characters and pre-rendered backgrounds or a little lower texture/model quality but a fully 3D environment.
Doom 3 and Chaos Theory had easily the most technically impressive graphics at the time (PC versions shown):
Now I'm not saying RE4 and H-L2 looked bad (they looked great even) but when it comes to graphical effects Doom 3 and Chaos Theory easily take the crown imho.
Can you guys combine those games to give me a top 5,then?
Yes,i mean top 5 graphics from the 6th generation.
Thanks in advance.:)
