Are Emulators safe to download?

Make sure to scan them after downloading, and stick to downloading them from their main website if you can.
The only catch is that while emulators are technically legal, the roms are not. So you won't be able to play any games legally, and you won't be able to get much (if any) help on this site as emulators are a big no-no.
More than they should be, but I guess the concern is understandable.

I really want to download an emulator, but im not sure if it is safe with all the chances of viruses and stuff. So do you know of any safe emulators for download? dalejr88
More than likely - most emulators are safe. Just be sure to always scan after downloading.
Unfortunately, that's all I can say without getting a moderation.
