Frictional Games (Amnesia: The Dark Descent, Penumbra series) announced SOMA, a new survival horror game due out in 2015 on PC and PS4.

SOMA is described as an "aberrant tale of scientific inquiry and survival; an entropic exploration of synapse and circuit that wades through the delusions of human consciousness".

SOMA is three years in the making, apparently, and is "a unique continuation of Frictional Games' signature style of explorative horror, provocative storytelling, and unfathomable tension, free of distractive cut-scenes and combat".

Day one. Been waiting to play anything these guys make for a while. Would love to see the Amnesia game on PSN for PS4 as well.

Beautifully ugly. Its crazy what indie developers are accomplishing with limited resources. Looking forward to playing it.

Wow, that's exciting right there! Indies never cease to amaze me where AAA's just bore.

Ohh this could mean amnesia on ps4. Good news all around. Why only ps4 though?

Seeing a pattern here. Injustice's new edition with all the DLC and some tweaks is coming to PS4, but not Xbone.

Great stuff. Getting Event Horizon vibes out of the trailer.

Sony has been seeking out most of these smaller/indie games and offering them incentives to port their games on the PS4. MS has enough problems of their own to worry about the indie/PC push.

I mean I've heard MS doesn't even have a single indie game at launch. That's mostly due to their old stance of self-publishing, but yeah they really dropped the ball when it came to smaller devs and indies.

I'm more intrigued for this game than any other.

I find it funny how the guy see's someone dead and then puts metal thing on their head, if I found myself there I would defiantly not be laying with whatever that metal thing is or a dead body. Having said this I really loved how they did this, It freaked me out when the machine started working.
