Almost all RPG game are made from Japan, but are there any RPG games are made from America? (But I'm no American, I'm just asking a question)

I think you're confusing more traditional styles and not acknowledging other genres within the RPG section. Yes, most traditional turn based rpgs are Japanese, but there are plenty others in the global genre. DaavpukeActually, the most traditional RPGs are Western. Just take a look at early Ultima and Wizardry games and you'll see where JRPGs come from.
I agree with your point, but there's a difference between inventing something and making something popular, thus calling the genre your own.Daavpukethere's also a difference between consoles and PCs. For years these two platforms have forked and WRPG's have always been really popular on the PC. I see current days as more telling at which version is more popular. JRPG's have never been able to break into PC gaming yet WRPG's are currrently flouishing on both PC and console.

well bioware are canadian not american (no US people..you dont own canada :P). the ultima series blizzard RPGs (wow and the diablo series) anachranox (brilliant game) Deus ex (best game ever made) Vampire the masquerade bloodlines. games from obsidian (KOTOR2 and NWN2 and expansions. alpha protocol is another one coming).osan0
Well Canada is part of North Amereica.
True since almost all American RPGs suck when compared to JRPGs.Best one I hear in the US right now is Tales Of Vesperia. In Japan itself its a different storyAlmost all RPG game are made from Japan, but are there any RPG games are made from America? (But I'm no American, I'm just asking a question)

That much is true sir. WRPGs tend to be more accessible as a whole.DaavpukeI just think anything that ends up on consoles is more accessible. I mean even the slight changes in Dragon Age Origins between console and pc are crazy. The starting Difficulty on PC is the same as Hard on console and people on consoles were complaining how difficult that game was in parts...try being able to kill your whole team by yourself like you can on pc.
[QUOTE="eh-ut"]Dragon Age: Origin, Fable, Diablo and many more..NerkconDiablo 1 and 2 were from Blizzard North, who were in Canada. And before the buyout Bioware were also Canadian. Canada is still closer to America than Japan. And the games are thematically closer to those in America than in Japan.

Not really, in fact traditionally it was probably the other way around. All the classical WRPG's like Fallout 2 simply dropped you into the game and expected you to figure out everything by yourself.
Given the immense wealth of options and choices in older WRPG's I would say they were far more complex then any JRPG.

I honestly want to see what someone who has only played JRPG's would think of a RPG like Fallout 2 or Planetscape. My guess you would have your mind blown at the sheer freedom those games offer, even at over a decade old, I still think those games are more advanced then any JRPG I have played by far.
There are not many American(USA) RPGs. There is a difference between code which is sold as an RPG and a true RPG.
