No, I mean pretty much all as in the main series. (I like Tactics, but I do not like how your character turns into a crystal when he/she dies.)

I did... up until the PS3 ones, because I've yet to get them, but I'm sure once I get a PS3 I will enjoy them just as much.

In the main series, yes, however Square has developed a habit of whoring out the FF name to sell some of their other mediocre garbage like Crystal Chronicles and FF Legends, and those games I despise.

*edit* I don't count FF11 as part of the "main series" either since it's basically just an Everquest knockoff.

I don't count FF11 as a main series game, so apart from that, I enjoyed them all except for FF8 and FF12. I haven't played the first three games, but I really enjoyed 4-7, 9-10 and 13.

I don't even count those as real FF games, it's just Square whoring out the FF name to sell some of their mediocre titles.

From the pieces I've played of VII and XIII, I don't see any huge problems with them. The linear-nature of XIII was a bit annoying, but I was able to trudge through that.

2 was awful. 3 being released so late chronologically outside of Japan made it VERY dated and generic. 5 was mediocre and pretty bland. 9 I just didn't like.

Every other Final Fantasy (including 13 and X-2) I would say rank an 8.5 to 10 in my book.

And 8 is HIGHLY underrated.

Nope. I only enjoy FF 7, & 8. I have never played anything prior to 7 and I dislike anything after 8.

VII is the first FF I played. VIII seemed like an all around improvement for the most part, but VII is the one that's has more popularity; It even has movies. It seems like it's underrated because of that.

That's because 7 was the groundbreaking title that featured an unprecedented cinematic presentation and singlehandedly gave the role-playing genre a mainstream audience; for many gamers it was their first rpg. Consequently, people have fonder memories of it.

some of the first ones were a little hard to play, but otherwise sure. And X-2 isn't that bad, it just isn't good.

I've actually never had the opportunity. I'm not really a Sony person. Not as much by choice as just through circumstance.

No, I can't say I enjoyed all of them. These ones definitely fell in the 'do not like' category: -FFXIII -FFXII (not the battle system, but the characters and story) -FFX-2 -FF Tactics -FFV Five had some neat ideas, but man, what a stinker of a story.

I haven't played any Final Fantasy games aside from;

Final Fantasy X

Final Fantasy XII

Final Fantasy XIII

But I love those three games, they are three of my favourite games of all time.

Can't really comment on the other FF games....but I'm sure if I had the chance to play them I would definitely enjoy them. As the record goes, I have not played a single Square Enix game I did not enjoy.

I've attempted a few times to play through and finish FF7, enjoyed it somewhat but eventually lost interest mid-game. Though I did beat FFXIII, wasn't great but I enjoyed it. Still have yet to play FF8, FF9, FF10, FFX-2, and FF12 so I wouldn't know how those were. I never played any of the other FF games pre-FF7. It's still on my to-do list.

I enjoyed most of them except for FFVIII, FFXI, FFXII, and now FFXIII. None of those scream Final Fantasy.

The others, however, do. Those are the ones that I prefer to play today.

10 wasn't awful, at least for me, but it WAS TOO EASY. As long as you had everyone do at least one thing for each and every battle, then buffing them up through the Sphere Grid wasn't a problem at all.

The only FF I have never played was FF11 and thats becouse I never got a chance to play it and FF14 is around the corner. I guess I'm one of the few who actually likes FF: Mystic Quest. I still pick it up and play it every now and then.

I did not enjoy FF11, X-2, or 12 all that much though.

FF11: I about died of boredom by level 3.

X-2: Meh.

12: Horrible story. Horrible characters (except Balthier and Ashe...those two I didn't mind). It felt like an MMO.

FF12: Revenant Wings still remains one of my favorite FF games though, and, if it's not clear, I HATED 12.

So aside from 11, X-2, and 12, I've enjoyed all the FF games I've played. I have not played any of the Crystal Chronicles games though because of all the bad reviews they get.

I didn't think the game was THAT bad tbh.

That had some great ideas in it, I loved the dressphere system; it really makes the game open-ended in how you develop your character's skills.

X-2's battle and class system was neat. Everything else wasn't, though. Story, repetitive game structure, characters, Brother (UGH), requirements for best ending, etc.

I've played pretty much every FF game since I got 1 on my NES years ago. I think the only ones I've missed were the handheld exclusive games and spinoffs. I can say I enjoyed all of them, except X. Of course, some were better than others, but enjoyable none the less.

I loved the gameplay of 12, hated the story and while from what I got, I liked the characters, but was very disappointed with the focus being on the whole overarching storyline rather than interpersonal character development, something that was a hallmark of past Final Fantasy games.

Sometimes it seems that every Final Fantasy fan hates at least one Final Fantasy game.

I for one hate Final Fantasy IV. It is a terrible game with no redeeming qualities and I am always perplexed and a little scared when people actually believe that it's good, or worse, that it's one of the best games ever.

Also, VI is boring beyond belief, and I, II, III are showing their age in a bad way.

The rest of the series is fine, excluding XI and XIII which I haven't played and won't talk about here.
