2012 The Best Year for Fighting Games?

Just from seeing the releases this year from 2D to 3D fighters, from unknown titles to the classics were getting a lot this year and is definitely a good thing. Many people thought thee genre was more or less kinda dying off since the major releases weere so scarce, seems that was indeed fleeting. Heres some of the games I was excited about this year

You forgot UFC 3. It's a 2012 fighting game.
It is going to be a really good year for fighting fans. But UMVC3, KOF 13, and Mortal Kombat all in 2011 makes 2011 stronger than this year.
Of the games you mentioned only Tekken X SF, and Blazblue have my full attention. That Persona fighter looks cool too but I don't think I'm biteing on that.

Why's Arcana Heart 3 on that list? I'm pretty sure it came out in 2011. Other than that, yes, I reckon this year is going to be an amazing year for fighters.

I'm really excited for Street Fighter X Tekken. I'll be turning off that gem system and enjying what looks like one of the most fun characters to use in a fighting game; Steve Fox

remove dbz,street fighter x tekken /puke and mortal kombat komplete edition just because it's just a re release, and marvel vs capcom cause i know for sure that both versions released in 2011.

And NO mention of Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown that saddens me, on a lighter note looking forward to DOA5 just hoping they don't make it too mutton mash friendly.

We definitely have a lot to look forward to this year. Since this year is the 25th anniversary for Street Fighter, I'm hoping Capcom does a SF1 remake. I would also like to see a new Rival Schools. That game alone would make my year as far as fighting games are concerned.
