yeah, i think god of war II was great this year, i dont know if FEAR was this year but its good too, and Rainbow Six Vegas, i was going to say Final Fantasy XII, but i was disapointed, looks good but the story was borring.
Most likely it would go to a game like World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade just because so many people love that MMO, now me personally, it would probably have to go to
God of War 2 without a doubt, Forza 2 was close but the lack of tracks and not a big improvement over its predecessor hurt it a bit. It won't take long though before GoW 2 is dethroned.
Bioshock, Halo 3, Mass Effect,MP3, SMG, SSMB, Crysis, Call of Duty4 > God of War 2, ok maybe I got alittle carried away :P but I expect atleast half of those games to surpass it.
It's pretty unbelievable to think that a PS2 game would be the hands down best game of the year to this point. No doubt that God of War II is the best game to come out so far.
There's almost no chance that it will remain the best game of the year, but props to Sony for releasing such a gem 7 years into the lifecycle of the PS2.
Pokemon Diamond, because it is just so damn addictive. Oh, and it's only one out of two games released this year that I've played, so my choices are pretty limited.
