I bought the cube when they were running a special of buy a cube and get a game free. So I got Wind Waker free and I also bought Madden 04. Great system.
Super Smash Bros. Melee, which I still play now, and Rogue Squadron, which I decided to get since it came with the Cube and it was free even though I'm not a huge Star wars fan.
I got a GC at launch, but i couldn't open it until christmas. Since i had gotten multiple games all at once, i didn't really get a first, however the first game i unrapped was mellee, and the first game i played was luigi's mansion.
Luigi's mansion, Crazy Taxi = C-Mas morning gift the year it came out then i went and bought Star wars rogue leader rogue squardrin and Super Smash Bros Melee.
I bought my used Gamecube in Fall of 04 and used it to play GBA games with the gameboy player the first month I had it. But the first game I actually bought was Luigi's Mansion for $9 used at EB.
the games that i got with the gc were Mario Kart: Double Dash and then it was like Poke'mon Xd or something.. but my fav is Resident evil 4 and Smash bros.. melee..
