I was looking into getting this game a very long time ago for the cube. I just noticed in my local gamestation the presence of 9 copies of the game second hand for £25 each. Its quite expencive i know but what was even more confusing was the fact that it was a players choice edition with the silver rim and everything. It should be under £20 new so i know they are ripping off their customers. I never knew tor heard anything about them releasing it in the players choice range and i was wondering if anyone else had either?

MGS: Twin Snakes is definitely a great game. I purchased mine for $17 used. (Although they gave me a new copy) The price for a new copy was $27. I'm not sure about the currency difference, although that is the price here in the states.

Twin Snakes is a good game if all you have is a GC. It's a bit of a disgrace to the original version (a lot of things are different and new features are added that actually make the game worse) But if you want to get into MGS, i'd say go to EBGames or something and buy it used because it'll only be like 10-15 bucks.

The game is definitely awesome, but 25 pounds seems a bit extreme, especially considering i purchased this game brand new for $20 Canadian at toysrus... If you're willing to drop the cash go for it, but i would suggest trying ebay or somewhere else first to save some money.

Such a sweet game. Some reply value and you can just sit back once you beat the game and watch it like a movie.

I have no idea how things work where you live, but here in the US the game is twenty bucks new. Relatively cheap. But I would gladly spend fifty bucks(if that were the price) for this gem. And I actualy bought it back when it was fourty(the price it was at release).

collecting dog tags are useless and the controls are awkward on the GC controller, but its still a good game

I didnt like it as much as the PS1 version, but that might be because I liked the PS1 version and didnt like how they remade some of the soundtrack. But if you have not played MGS1 on the PS1 or were not a hardcore fan of it, the GC version is an amazing version. Updated graphics running on the MGS engine...that means there are more moves and controls are a little better.

If you haven't played the original Metal Gear Solid (PS), then MGS: Twin Snakes is a definite must-buy.
