Ah yes you are correct to a certain degree, but now gamers want the thrill and the ownly way they're gonna get it is if they by a PS3, Wii, or Xbox 360; as for right now the PS2 is still in the game.

Yes, because the second no new games come to the GBA, it dies. Completely forgetting the fact of the great games the system had, and that people have yet to play all the great games.

A systems dead when you let it die. When you forget about it, and never play it again. The Atari systems are dead. The GBA isnt. The GBA had a series of great games, and will be remembered as such. The same way the NES is still alive, for revolutionizing gaming.

i love the gameboy i have everyone sence it came out but the ds has moved in and the Ds has better looks and feel i think if the gba is dieing then they should stick a fork in it and let it be done because the few games that a trickling out are not the good except FF games

Nah, it's not dead. (it's probably just on vacation, like my dog....) The GBA still has a few games coming out for it, true, none of them are all that great, but I don't think we can count it out yet. Quote Monty Python and the Holy Grail "Sweet Concord, I shall avenge your death!" "Actually, I think I'm getting better..." "Then I shall avenge your mortal wounding!" "No, I think I can come with you, sir..."

While it may be dying I don't think it's dead yet. I love my GBA mini and prefer it in size compared to the DS when playing on public transport. It's small enough to not draw attention to yourself, unlike the PSP. The DS is great and has great games but it's not that easy to play games on the train when your waving a little stick around. Long live the mini!!

yet we still trudge on. as long as we can play our old favorites from the gba games, it will never die. BELIEVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Recharge the battery. The GBA Micro rocks! It got me through a few college lectures and keeps the job from being boring during break. There are a lot of great games out for the GBA. Just buy'em second hand for $7-$24 a pop.

If as you say Gamespot closed down all last gen system forums there would be far less people coming here.

Since games are still coming out for the GBA, since people are still playing GBA games and since this forum still exists I guess the GBA is not dead.........yet.
