Yes, because the second no new games come to the GBA, it dies. Completely forgetting the fact of the great games the system had, and that people have yet to play all the great games.
A systems dead when you let it die. When you forget about it, and never play it again. The Atari systems are dead. The GBA isnt. The GBA had a series of great games, and will be remembered as such. The same way the NES is still alive, for revolutionizing gaming.
acutally the gba is gonna live for years since it has combatibility with the ds and it has so many good games that my head is gonna exPLODE

Have you noticed? All the last gen systems (except the ps2) are all practically dead now. Gamespot has basically closed down the pages, and production of games has virtually ceased. The gba with the ds, the xbox with the 360, the gc with the wii, and the ps3 is too expensive and innaccessable to replace the ps2 yet.techboy712yet we still trudge on. as long as we can play our old favorites from the gba games, it will never die. BELIEVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Recharge the battery. The GBA Micro rocks! It got me through a few college lectures and keeps the job from being boring during break. There are a lot of great games out for the GBA. Just buy'em second hand for $7-$24 a pop.

If as you say Gamespot closed down all last gen system forums there would be far less people coming here.
Since games are still coming out for the GBA, since people are still playing GBA games and since this forum still exists I guess the GBA is not dead.........yet.Â
