In the traditional party of 3, I'd choose Cloud (good leader and swordsman), Zell (awesome fist-fighter) and Vivi (imo the best black mage). If it were a party of 4 I'd add a white mage/summoner, Yuna.

Lead character wise? Zidane. Cecil,. Bartz, Terra (or celes....whoever you think the lead character is), Zack (Nopt a lead character yet. Will be with Crisis Core), Vincent Valentine (Though his game sucked), Baltheir (or Vaan, depending on who you see as the lead character in that game)

It only didn't pick up because too many morons out there couldn't figure out how to use it. Seriously, did you even beat FFVIII?

Though I do think the draw and junction systems were horrid (And don't suggest that I don't understand them. That has less than nothing to do with why I hate them)/ I found the characdters boring , so I took no interest in the story. I fave up after disk 2. Why continue playing it if it NEVER gets any better?

The junction system was the BEST system in the entire FF series (so far). Some people don't like it because it's hard to learn (wasn't for me). And I swear, it's works better than any other system. Your right Droge, if you've beaten the game you'd be used to it by then, if not loving it. Just my opinion.
