Guys, we have given the rest of the members chance to vote for their choice. Too bad for pikastar, Vesica and Symon, their supporters did not get translate their presence into votes.

Btw, we admit that this banner competition was very subjective... Purely based on voting 'coz of absence of judges. I hope we can do better next time.

WOW! you guys ought to be ashamed of yourself! This is a community, why are you bashing someone for stating their opinion? Fenian is my friend, and was only stating his opinion - clearly this banner won because Bioshockraptor's friends voted for HIS work, how is it any different? Calling yourself a designer doesn't make you one, and he never called himself one, which is more than i can say for some people who shouldn't be making such claims.

And BY THE WAY, whatever your opinion of Advent Children, the reason i chose that as a theme, is because it came out the same year FFE was started, it was an homage to the year, and to the union more than to the movie. Honestly, this is sad..... this union used to be a friendly place, now it's little more than a popularity contest. i used love being a part of this community, it's sad how downhill it's gone.

Okay guys, I'M LOCKING THIS THREAD.

I have no excuse that this banner contest was very subjective. The whole judging system was scrapped for lack of of judges, so i decided to just make it a poll decision. Everyone was given the chance to voice their opinion and pick their choice. It just happened that most of the people who decided to give this voting process their time thinks that Bio's was better, but it does not mean that it is the voice of everyone. On the other side, it does not mean that because pikastar got the least votes means that she is the worse. Again, it just so happened that the people who went out to vote made their choice.

Aside from Vesica, who is a fairly new member, all the participants are all very close to my heart. Please do not bash each other. It's not good... and very unhealthy for a community. Constructive criticisms are good, though... Just say it in a good way so as not to offend feelings because these participants exerted time and effort in making the banners, which most of us cannot do.
