Character Battle: Best Final Fantasy Villain - Overall (RESULTS)

The members of Final Fantasy Experience have nominated the top 8 Final Fantasy Villains and it's time to let them battle it out. Starting November 26th, the 8-character winner-take-all tournament will begin. Using the Poll of the Day to decide, the most popular FF Villain will take this year's title.

There are 8 villains. First will be an elimination round where our villains were given their match selected randomly. After the eliminations, we will go directly semi-finals to determine who will meet in the final battle.

Ever day, a new thread will opened for purposes of voting. Scores will be bsed on the numbe rof votes that will be casted. To make more sense to our battles, we encourage everyone to post their opinion on the battle and who among the contending characters is cooler, is more powerful, etc.

There's no prize in this game. Just pure fun. Let's just say think that we're cheering for our favorite FF Villain to get the title "Best Final Fantasy Villain - Overall".

Sad that Golbez isn't on the list, since he is in my opinion one of the better ff villains, if not the best. I liked whenever he made his entrance along with his creepy musical theme~ Also, while under the mind-seduction, there weren't evil desires that he wouldn't concoct and overall his intentions were really interesting, and he didn't reveal them till later in the game. Can't forget either that he constantly was a serious threat to our party and showed frequently how his evilness didn't have any limits; abduction of rosa and later attempt to kill her unless Cecil completed his evil request etc.

Anyways, put my vote on sin to beat kuja in the current competition

I liked him too! The best villains to me are any of the FFT characters. Dycedarg, Larg, Delita(The greatest of them all), oh and don't forget Wiegraf.

This is likely to wind up being Sephiroth vs. Kefka and Kefka will loose because people don't know a real villian when they see onefs_metal

I like Sephiroth overall as a character. He's pretty badass, but as a villain, he's whatever. Like any other typical "Last Boss", he just wants to destroy the world (and slices up anyone in his way in order to achieve his goal). I know he killed Aerith, but I think he actually did me a favor when he did that. She was so annoying, Cloud and Tifa forever!

Kefka is a real true villain. He poisons a whole kingdom (going against orders from the emperor), kills one of the coolest guys in the game (General Leo), and ends up killing the emperor as well (who tried to kill kefka cuz he thought Kefka was too insane!). Oh yeah, Kefka also turns all the espers into Magicite (basically killing them all), and also sends the world into ruin. He's a coward who somehow ends up with unbelievable power, and you just want to kill him.

Sephiroth is cool, but Kefka is the better villain so I will vote for him.
