Hello! Does anyone know when F1 07 is coming out because I seem to recall F1 games coming out in May/June and instead they did F1 vision championship which focusses on last season!

Thanks

No F1 '07 this year :( long story short, SCEE didn't renew their licence and no one picked it up.

Hopefully we'll see a decent company pick up the rights and produce a Formula One game for the Xbox 360 and PC as well as the PS3. Console exclusive sports titles are a bad idea.

EA have always made poor sim games especailly F1. I really don't wanna see it go to EA purely from a game perspective (It sucks that it doesnt get released in America) Polyphony would do an awesome job but poor damage (Although, GT5 reportedly contains an excellent damage physics engine now that their licence allows for the cars to be damaged) so it could be good. Then there would be the commentation which unfortunately wouldnt be James Allen and Martin Brundle.

May be EA F1 games on PS2 were lame, but the PC versions were pretty good. I played F1 2000, F1 2002, and F1 99-02. All were pretty good, especially the last one which was an excellent simulation.
