Hello people, I'm doing a Souls games "marathon" (currently still in Demon's Souls), and thus, want to buy Dark Souls 2, on PS3.

But I wonder what is the best choice to make : either buy vanilla DS2 and then the DLCs on the PSstore, or to directly buy the SoTFS edition?

Reading the article "Best Reasons to Play Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin" on "primagames.com" it seems the SoTFS edition brings changes that may quite change the experience of the game.

So, what do you think? What is the best experience?

I'm playing the original. I'm 100 hours into the game. If I upgrade to Scholar of the First Sin I will have to start from scratch with a new character. Since the upgrade does not allow me to import my save files (in PC).
