No matter how "good" Skylanders will be the old Spyro is dead. He is now replaced by a Satan spawn that makes little girls cry. They're just dragging the poor dragon through s***, changing his look every year, and rehash the series over and over until the plotline is unrecognizable. As a fan of the original series and not these stupid glitchy new school Spyro games you call good, it makes me angry how they abused the license for this once beloved pokey little dragon.

Price: Through the mother****ing roof. :cry: Theoretically. Personally, I doubt it'll be over $350. Until it was announced that the controllers were also a gaming device I was thinking $300, but giving you (arguably) two game systems makes a price as big as even $400 (the highest I'll bet) mostly justifiable.

I would not be surprised to see it higher than $350, especially if the rumors about its graphical capabilities are true. I very much doubt that we'll be getting a price on the system Tuesday, so this is probably moot for now. Â

I think I'll just stick my current consoles, because I'm not really into this fancy "impress them with half touch screen and half controllers" whole deal. My view on videogames is to keep making more, not try to put more gimmicks in them. I do fine playing games like Duke Nukem with a normal controller, on just a simple control system. This is one reason that makes me wonder why I get a Wii. :roll: Maybe it's because 4 years ago when I got it, I thought the exact opposite of what I do now.

You forget that the technology that was so great at the time is not nearly so impressive now, technology loses value daily. And so far the most expensive release there was was the Wii's $250, a jump to $750 would be absurd. If it really would be that expensive, they'd wait versus risking losing their entire casual market.

I have heard that, too! Well, it is cell phones that have that risk, not regular landline phones. There isn't any conclusive evidence, but there is mounting evidence. Thank goodness I don't talk on my phone that much!

I heard that that can give you brain cancer. :cry: I heard that texting has the same effect on your brain as smoking pot. You can't believe everything they produce in "scientific" studies, because for the most part it's merely a hypothesis, very few things are confirmed facts, just ideas.

I can accept the cancer link to cell phones as possible, but texting is nothing like pot (not that I would know first hand, of course). I think that, as long as your texts are well composed and use decent grammar, it's not going to affect your brain in any detrimental way.
Cell phones release an amount of radiation that is thought to cause tumors. I don't know, as much as I talk on my cell phone, I'll probably have a tumor by the time I'm 20. :P
I don't think texting would be as good for your sanity as marijuana use. But I also text regularly, so...yeah, I must agree with Alex's opinion. :P

Halo Anniversary comes out on November 15 :lol: I'll be getting it, for sure, but launching so close to 11/11/11, it won't be seeing much, if any playtime until I get tired of SKYRIM (which didn't get shown :x)
