here you can ask if a game, system or lot is worth the asking price or if there are places or times were they might be cheaper.

I call dibs on this one, but I'm not sure if it is a good deal. I already have Sonic 3D. I thought Darius Gaiden was Japanese only and the way he has Resident Evil's title covered I'm wondering if ti is the Japanese version (I don't want the Japanese versions): Ebay

OK.  The Darius game is good, I have it and I've played it.  There's a very easy way to tell between North American and Japanese Saturn games.  The Japanese ones have a gold colored stripe and come in standard CD jewel cases.

Of course! So you think $40 for those 4 is okay?

Samba de Amigo.  $15 for game, $60 for controllers, MIB.

I'd would not mind picking it up with the controllers loose.

the game usually goes for 20-30 and the controllers MI(seperate)B sould go around 30-40... you are averageing it out, go for it.

No.  But, then I'm not a fan.  If you want it and don't care about it being sealed, wait for the right price, which is around the $20 mark.  I bought all 4 games mint and complete, two of them factory sealed for about $60 altogether, by waiting for sales and maximizing my return on used games, etc.  It's cool to race to the end of the list, but the PS2 library is going to start slipping in resale value in 2-3 months.  Then would be the best time to cross items off your wantlist, IMO.

Yeah, I'm not a fan -yet- either, I just don't want to be stuck loving the series and then not being able to get the last game

I'll hold my powder for a couple of weeks and see if I can get it used though - sage advice.

.Hack 4 -- I cannot find it ANYWHERE so I'll probably go ahead and pony up the cash. There is one more store I have to try. As for Magna Carta -- I was surprised that it only had teh $54 CE version -- I had only every seen the CE version and assumed that there was a regular version of it -- so I'll probably get that this week if Contact goes on sale at Fry's.

Hmm well if you can't find it anywhere they I guess it's worth spending. I'd prolly hold off myself though. $54 bucks is some steep change for a game.  Depend on if you really like the series too.

I found a sealed copy of the The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker at Blockbuster video.  It wasn't a greatest hit and on the the back in small print it said "for rental use only".  Does anyone think this has any more value than a regular sealed non gh copy?

Also what is eveyones thoughts on a sealed Castlevania: Symphony (non gh).  What do you gentleman think it is worth

Though I don't know about that specific rental game, historically the Blockbuster rental-only games have been worth picking up, especially Final Fight Guy.  I wouldn't open that one until you know more about it, obviously, but it seems a little strange that it would be a sealed rental-only copy from a rental store.  I would have expected it to be in active rotation, at least for a while, being that it's a fairly high-profile title

As for the sealed SOTN, you can find those on eBay from time to time; SOTN is a weird one in that its price fluctuates greatly, some people swear any copy is worth $45 at minimum and some find it for $15 regularly.  If you're intent on selling it for as much as you can get, I'd set it up as a Buy-It-Now and wait for somebody who's willing to drop $100 on it.  You might get lucky.

I do remember Final Fight Guy as a Blockbuster exclusive.  The weird thing about this Wind waker is that it doesn't look any different than a regular version.  It just happens to say rental use on the back.

What're the part number and SKU?  The original's are DOL P GZLE and 045496960469, respectively.   When my  copy of Wind Waker/Ocarina arrives, I plan to check it out as well to see if they are held to be the same by Nintendo.

That's right about the going rate, as far as I can tell.  I would pick it up, especially if it's one you can hold in your hands and know it isn't screwed up; that alone's worth a couple of bucks, IMO.

for me, that's a huge chunk of cash... I'd love to own it on all it's platforms since IMO it's the best 2D fighter... well... ever... I only have the PS2 port ATM and it boggled me seeing it at EB...

This is a bad time of year for buying desirable games on eBay, b/c people lose their minds trying to get gifts and the bidding spirals out of control.  It you can wait, try eBay in February, then it seems to be more a buyer's market.  I've not seen a complete FF 1 sell for less than $30 in quite a while, though.  It's held in high esteem as a collectible, but it's far from rare.

Yeah that would explain some things. I recently bid on Tales of Destiny I and by the time the auction had ended it was over $55. A bit steep if you ask me.

I got mine for less than half of that, but even if the scardity may have risen since then, my gut says, "not more than $25.".

How much would be a reasonable price for Steel Battalion and Panzer Dragoon Saga? Im looking to pick these two up sometime soon off ebay, and Im trying to figure out if the prices right now are so inflated that its worth waiting until late Janurary or so to start buying. For refrence, right now from what I've seen browsing through finished auctions, SB looks to be fetching about $110-120 on average and PDS looks like its going for $100-110 or so.

that's a fair price for SB, make sure you get one WITH LOC included. and a side note of controller variants: Green buttons=first run Blue buttons=Second run as for PDS, it doesn't matter what you pay for it as long as you plan on playing it.

Gamestop in my town has a new copy of SB for $99.99.  I'm told the outer box is wrecked but it was never sold, used copies had been bringing ~$130 not that long ago.  That price for Saga seems quite good.  A couple of months ago it was averaging $140, like it has seemed to for years.

I was reading on this thread earlier and you guys are talking about the value of PDS. So, I went to JapanGameStock to check out what they had newer since my last visit for the Saturn. I was scrolling through their selection when I came to the following listing: AZEL: Panzer Dragoon RPG, In Stock, 1,500 Yen I about died! That's only $12 USD, give or take. Now, I don't know if that price is because Japan simply had a ton more copies made for them than here in the U.S., but I'm betting that is the reason. Even if that is theory is true, I don't care. Finally being able to get and play that game will be great!

How much is a complete Super Mario RPG, including box, manual, and Nintendo Power Strategy Guide. Box has minimal shelf wear.

yeah, in japan PDS is a very common game. The US version is a completly different story, I think its something like only 5,000 copies were made. If you can read Japanese though go for it.

At this time of year, I think that that package could go for $100 at least.  In slower times of year, SM RPG complete is about $50-70, and I didn't know that there was a strat guide for Legend of the Seven Stars.  That will drive it to probably 2X normal.

I don't really know much Japanese, but I can cope for $100 less than I'd pay otherwise.

I probably wouldn't go more than $20 on the ZOE 2 or Baldur's, either PS2 or Xbox.

K, saw ZOE 2 at Rhino's for 35 and BG: DAII for $40. I rarely see these in a store so I thought I'd check.

I am the original and only owner of this like new Panasonic 3DO FZ10 game system. 10 years and three daughters later, I have decided to pull this out of the closet and sell it. All of the games listed below were purchased new and some never used at all. Road Rash is the only one I purchased used because it was so hard to find. It is also the game that made me want to purchase this 3DO system to begin with. The CH Products Flightstick Pro is new and one of the games came with a bonus controller. The games included are: The Need for Speed, Road Rash, Scramble Cobra, Shockwave 2, Burning Soldier, Twisted-The Game Show, The Incredible Machine, Foes of Ali, Zhadnost, Blade Force, Gex, Total Eclipse, Pebble Beach Golf Links, Waialae Country Club, Fun+ Games, Dragon's Lair, Slayer, Shanghai : Triple Threat, Soccer Kid, ESPN Step Arobics, and 2 3DO Interactive Samplers. All original boxes and documents included. I guarantee this system and accessories to be exactly as described, as I value my 100% feedback. I am offering the "buy now" option to ensure timely delivery for the holidays. Happy Holidays!

Is that worth $150 Buy It Now?

I'd be interested in that but $150... may be too rich for my blood... shipping would make it near $200... I'd personally buy it for 100+shipping costs...

The shipping is $20. It's currently at $75 with one day to go and no bids.
