Free Fallin' - Will The Price Drop?

There are some games I pay full-price for without hesitation, even if it is up there in sixty dollar land (keep in mind I import all my games, so each one carries a shipment "tax" of about $12 each).

Soul Calibur 4, for example is a must pre-order for me (PS3 version for Dvader and Kratos please).

So what do you think about MGS4? Will the price drop before it gets the dreaded "Greatest Hits" packaging? Or is it $60 until that time? I'm thinking it's going to go the Halo 3 route and never drop, so I may as well pay my dues now (or wait until the inevitable 360 version with whatever bonus material they tack on, since I'm probably never going to play it anyhow).

why are u importing all games? (havent been in this union long enough) and why do you think theres an inevitable xbox360 version? i know they ported the first 2 games, but the third one wasn't ported to other systems. can 360 handle it?

I don't think you'll see MGS4 on 360, at least any time soon, MAYBE some sort of expansion thing like subsistence or substance, but probably not.

Yes,

While its graphically stunning, and the sound is out of this world its not the be all and end all of console games from a technical demands stance,

360 could do it all be it with a few discs.

What do you want the price to drop to? I wish I knew you wanted it before I traded it in. I never trade games in but they the matched the price I was gonna list it for on Ebay---half--$30. So instead of going through the hassle I just traded it in. Awesome game though.

Ok, I heard this from my boss and it seems like it's true. Soul Calibur 4 will sport two new characters, one exclusive to each system. The PS3 will have Kratos from God of War and the 360 will have Marcus Fenix from Gears of War, complete with his chainsaw gun. I was really hoping not to get both versions, but after this announcement, I just have to. The question is, do I get both collectors or just one collectors and one regular edition?
