I am seriously considering selling some of my games. I really want a car and I have no time for games anymore. If anyone wants something send me an offer. I am not parting with any of my N64 stuff or SNES games. I don't want to seem like am advertising but I want the people her to get there shots at it first. You guys were the reason the collection started.

I want you to know, I know people who did the same thing. people who all later regreted it when the got time for games again. the same people who then look for the games and end up paying more then what they sold them for and in most cases worse condition. some (very few) had even thought they "outgrew" games and later realized selling their games was a horrible dicision. I'm not going to try and stop you from selling your stuff because everyone needs to learn their own lessons but I'm not going to encourage it by offering to buy anything from you. sorry.

I know what you mean. I wouldn't sell it all.

I never sell my collections.  If I need to get rid of some of it, I give it away because one rarely gets back what one puts in.

I have regretted selling and eventually wanted to re-collect every game and system that I have ever owned.  Back when I was child labor, it made sense to sell a system or two to get the new thing I wanted, but now it just doesn't make sense.  I've taken the time in the past to figure up how many dollars my time is worth in the past, and compared that to the money saved trading or selling games to get new ones, and it_never adds up.

However, if it came down to having something like a car, or keeping a bunch of games in boxes, I would choose the car.  ;)

Some judicious pruning is not a bad idea.

I would also advise not selling off any of your collection.  Although I'm sure you know what you're doing; and if this is your best option for getting some much needed cash, then selling to fellow CCU members would probably also provide your best chance for being able to get your games back at the same cost you sold them for.  Kind of like an indefinite cash loan where the games are your collateral.  :P

That's an interesting and generous premise.

What I need to find is people who want to buy crap sports titles for $2 a piece.  I think if you take those out of my collection it is a decent one.

Try selling your video games to www.hitgamingbuyback.com I sold mine a few weeks ago and got payment quite fast. Quotes are instant and they paid me via PayPal. They give nice prices for most items from what I could see. boxerlover1978

So you love boxers eh?
