I've been gaming for a very long time and I had the utmost respect for this site and the reviews it did. But in the past year or more it has all gone downhill. Now reviews for bad games are delayed for a week or more unlike most good games. I have noticed this in many games that I have wanted that turned out bad. gauntlet seven sorrows, kingdom under fire circle of doom, and dark messiah of might and magic, which i predict will be 6.0 or less.

it didn't use to be this way, but you guys sold out to the game industry who would benefit from people being ignorant of the awfullness of games and go buy them based on screenshots which mean nothing and hyped up previews which in many cases you should be ashamed of, I've seen some of the previews for games that are released as garbage and i go back and you guys couldn't be more positive in the previews.

Then there was the whole kane and lynch review that fired the best reviewer and employee you ever had.

You lost me then, I lost all respect for you and consider you - gamespot.com, and your managers and new owners complete sellouts to the game industry. not the reviewers that are still left, i still think you guys are admirable for what you have to deal with running the show.

I hope jeff gerstman does start his own site to rival this one, i'll never look back.

I don't even go to you guys for news too either it's old buy the time you report it and most other sites are easier to read.

you guys will probably lock this thread like the others i have seen like it. it is a feedback forum, but i guess you need to censor it so we can't discuss things like this among other users.
