why is posting so hard?

I try to post but posting is getting incredibly hard to do due to the fact that the post page is so slow and lethargic. when i try to delete a word its always with a small delay. when the post page starts up its with a small delay. in general the posting is very slow. is there anyway around this? please reform or recode your forum post templates. so when im posting, I dont feel like im typing out of sync lol. its really annoying.

I have that same issue. Everything takes forever to load now. I never had any of these issues before with the old gamespot layout. In fact my IE locks up sometimes when I'm on the forums now.

If anyone can help me out that be great. I use Vista if that helps.

PS: Why did they need to change the layout? I don't like change..

I agree. I've always had problems with GS and it's forum software. Now it's worse, which I never thought possible. Just typing words seems like the slowest process I've encountered in a forum. Everytime I post I copy my text in case I get an error. This is the buggiest, slowest, laggiest forum I have ever been to, and I frequent many many messageboards.

I also love it when you go to post, type out everything, and hit submit only to be taken to a login page because you were signed out all along. And what you typed is gone and you've just wasted time.

Yeah same with me. Posting is incredibly laggy. Takes a long time to delete stuff.

Note: This is only on WIDE for me. Not on old boards like union and game-based.

It feels out of sync and too SLOW.

With this many users aware of the problem I am sure GS should recognize it.
