Well Gamespot, that's that, I suppose.

Gamespot, you are collapsing into thousands of little pieces now. I'm sorry, but I am leaving. As in, for good.

Your mistakes have mounted up until they became far too high to stand. This isn't another topic about Jeff Gerstmann getting fired. There's more than that.

Ever since Greg left, I knew that Gamespot was going down soon. Sure enough, the entire website has gone from the greatest, most truthful-reviewing system online to a wasteland in less than a year. How could this happen? How, after 10 years of fame as one of the most renowned gaming sites on the planet, could you have destroyed all you have worked so hard to achieve in so little time? The thought is impossible. And it's true.

The review system has also changed. The days of precise rewiewing went down the toilet when you changed to .5-incriment reviews.

That was the start. And now that Jeff Gerstmann is gone, so is Gamespot. CNET, you've made a terrible mistake choosing between your petty advertisements, or your fanbase. You chose the former, and now I hope you pay the price. You have taken the greatest gaming site on the planet and converted it to an ad-friendly, suck-site.

Congratulations on that, by the way.

And when your remaining fans ask you for answers, you lock up their topics in cowardice, and avoid it as much as possible. Well guess what? You can do that to one less customer now. I have been a long-time supporter. Think of the people you've lost in the past couple of days. You even caused people who have been here for years to quit. So I will follow them.

I truly feel sorry for whomever is reading this. Because they are constantly looking topics like this in the eye, and knowing inside that this will mean the ends of their jobs as well.

You are the greatest embarrassment in the gaming industry. I now realize that I should have canceled my account earlier. My services belong to IGN now. They are much more reliable, and they're not arrogant, cowardly idiots that sit at their incompetent jobs, not answering the followers that beg them for an answer.

You suck, Gamespot. You do. YOU SUCK. I'm getting that out of the way now, since I'll never have a chance again. This IS an account suicide thread. Kill this account. You're actions have sealed your own grave, and I feel no sympathy towards you or any of your employees.

What are you waiting for, you lousy incompetents? Obliterate this account, so I never have to deal with any more of your crap again.

You wanna choose ads over your fanbase? Then I guess you'll have less fans to advertise to. But hey, I won't feel sorry for your pathetic industry. You deserve it.
