Video Autoplay can't be disabled

I followed the directions here and signed in to GameSpot and attempted to turn off video autoplay: https://www.gamespot.com/forums/bug-reporting-feedback-1000006/how-to-disable-video-autoplay-in-articles-33442137/

The toggle does not show up. I also tried in Private/Incognito mode and signed in under that, the toggle does not show up then either.

I tried this on desktop Firefox 63.0.3 64-bit, desktop Chrome 70.0.3538.110-1 64-bit, mobile Chrome 70.0.3538.110, mobile Firefox 63.0.3, all in normal mode while signed in, and also in private/incognito while signed in.

The toggle doesn't ever show up.

@girlusocrazy: Ah, if it's Android, it's probably registering as mobile then - we'll get the switch available on mobile soon!

@girlusocrazy: On which page (URL) are you seeing this behavior? Our dedicated video pages still autoplay because that's the purpose of the page, but you should see the switch on videos within news articles.

@wemmick: Here is one example, the "Fallout 76 Patch Notes Include Increased Stash Space, More (December 4 Update)" article: https://www.gamespot.com/articles/fallout-76-patch-notes-include-increased-stash-spa/1100-6463582/

If I click through from the main page the video will autoplay, buy not if I click through from the link above in this reply. Even though they both go to the same URL. It only autoplays for me from the main page.

It is specified as an "article" in the search results ( https://www.gamespot.com/search/?q=Fallout+76 ) and not a video, so I imagine it doesn't belong to a dedicated video page.

@girlusocrazy: It doesn't currently work on mobile which is something we're working on. I'll have someone look into the other cases though. Is this on PC or Mac?

@wemmick: It's on Android, but I don't see an "autoplay" toggle on PC either (Linux Mint). It's mainly an issue on mobile (Android) because it will eat into my monthly data cap
