Speaking of avatars, I have seen that LiveFyre doesn't quite keep up with avatar changes. Some users (myself included) recently changed out avatars yet livefyre still seems to have our old avatars appear. My apologies for possibly "hijacking" the thread. F22_King_RaptorThanks for linking to that issue. I've let them know.

F22_King_RaptorHave you tried refreshing the page or clearing your internet cache? That could also be the problem.
Hi there,
Thanks for looking into this problem! I've also encountered an error when trying to upload new images ... I've made sure dimensions and size are perfect too. Yet still I get this message/error screen.

I've been posting here for YEARS, and this site is more screwed than it's ever been. "OOPS!" notifications are now a constant occurrence, I really wonder why I haven't just dumped this site entirely...
... I guess it's that I'm just as lazy as the techs at GS's parent company who handle the maintenance of this website, and don't want to be bothered with trying to start up on a different game discussion group...
Look, I ultimately don't care if my avatar comes up, I'll use one of the boring, MOR, brain-dead pics GS has in stock... But for the love of all that is sanity, can this site PLEASE un-**** itself???
PLEASE???
:(
For what it's worth, I get the "URL Not Found at ... " message when I try to upload my smiling chimp pic. It's nice to have an avatar you can pick out when scanning a thread for friends and such. I would LIKE it to return to how it was. But if this is the New Gamespot World Order, then so-be-it. I s'pose.
It might be nice to get a notification about "Oh Well, No More User Image Upload Hosting At GS" or something of the sort, if this is how it's going to be - Instead of everyone guessing.
I picture the guy in "Airplane!" holding the pulled plug for the runway lights, saying "Just Kidding!" when I think about who's in charge of keeping this site running correctly...
For the record, and it made me LAUGH this time, I got an "OOPS!" notification when I posted the above comment...
... Good GAWD, y'All!!!

Oh, the IRONY...

I totally agree. I've been here since 2003 and never had so many issues in a year like this one. Who the hell is in charge in tech support? Maybe we should all use a screenshoot of the oops page as signatures until someone does something about it?in the 5 years i've been on this site, i have likely tripled my number of 'oops' messages in just a few days.
