NEW: Profile Module Redesign

If you check out your profile, you'll notice a slick new look in the upper right, combining your profile information, your personal information, and your profile statistics into one location.

I'm still working out a lot of kinks, including missing profile statistics, caching issues (which might prevent you from seeing the new profile module in the first place), and detailed information about each profile statistic. So we're by no means finished, but wanted to let you guys know to check it out. If you have any suggestions, feel free to drop a note or private message.

This is a great new feature. There have been a few glitches here and there, but that's to be expected.

Awesome feature, i guess this is why there was glitches earlier to getting to my profile page ? I thought it had something to do with the new blog I had put on my profile in regards to the shooting this morning in Virginia so I erased it, Oh well. But I really like the tabs, nice touch, very creative. :D

I like it. It's very convenient and orderly. It's better than having information on one box. Now to add a Wii gametag j/k.

Your profile page just turns out blank. Have no idea why it has only affected you.

A few problems with Stats:

-It's showing the incorrect amount of games I've rated, and videos and images I've uploaded.

-And it shows I have over 1k tags! :o

It's a pretty cool new system. Here are my thoughts

I liked how it said how many profile views we received the previous day. Could that be added back into this system? Would it be possible to know more detailed profile views statistics? Such as where the hits came from, and which pages in your profile received the hits?

I don't see the point of the digg referrals stat, since digg has nothing to do with gamespot

Could the websites in the about me area be links? I have a lot of sites listed, and it's not likely that someone will scroll and copy and paste the address into the web bar. People are more likely going to visit the site if it's a link

and as mentioned by other people, some of the stats aren't working correctly

Edit: I just cleared everything in my cache and now I can see it. It looks wonderful! But like everything said: the information should still be edited. Thanks spazz!

Clear your cache and they will work properly. 

Hey all y'all,

Quick update, the Safari hidden tabs bug is now fixed but it has given rise to some floating issues in older version of FF. We're looking into it now.

Like my main man Vince said, we'll be fixing bugs as they show up in the next few weeks. Thanks for all the feedback and keep 'em comin'. We appreciate your patience.

I'm totally obsessed with stats of any kind, so now I have even another reason not to get a life. :P 

I love it:D. I never wanted to give feedback on gamespot befor (mostly bcause I was too busy) but I liked this so much that I had to come and find this fourm and now I know where it is I think I will give more feed back.

I also checked the new feature im all of my browsers and it works fine in all of them. 

My stats are off, but that sounds like a cache issue that will fix itself when they clear, so other then that it looks awesome.

just went to my profile and noticed it! pretty nice! i liked it.

but there is some bugs. One time it said i have 10 rated games, and other time 40, now it says i have 10 again O_o
(i have 40)

but other than that - awesome work! i love when Gamespot does something new for users, unlike other sites..
