For me, it's bearable on desktop. I'd just like to be able to see the avatars when using the phone/tablet again. It's basically just a list of topics otherwise and it's unappealing.

Their is a desktop version for mobile devices that should let you see avatars/sigs and I tested this feature on my Android and I saw users avatars & sigs on the forums.
@davillain-: How do I go about using the desktop version? I'm iOS. Thanks :)
Sorry for the late reply, I didn't see my notification until I re-enter this thread.
Basically for me, when I'm on mobile, you should see not on Gamespot options but your mobile should have it's own options and you should be able to see "Desktop" on the top right corner, click on it and find desktop menu and you'll be using mobile desktop version for Gamespot and any other places.
