Gifs no longer work?

Hello. I upload gifs but they are static images. Just wondering if this is a site change and if so, it it's permanent.

I can confirm that this is not just an isolated issue. I've tried uploading two new animated gifs, neither of which are animated in my profile.

My sig still functions though, and when I post a previously uploaded animated gif... It's incredibly slow to load in the text editor but it's animating. I wager it should animate in the forum after posting

Was about to make the same thread, gifs just upload as static images.

This is affecting me as well, it's definitely a site issue, tried three different browsers with no success (Edge, Firefox, Chrome).
