Gamespot running slow

Here is an example of how slow GS is running. Look at the bottom of each page in the following pics. See how slow they are loading? The pics were taken minutes apart and are in the 4 bits per second and 0 bits per second range some 6 and a half minutes later. You can tell how slow it is loading by the number of elements that have loaded, it hasn't changed. That is really sad really.

I can't seem to do anything on the site without getting 504 error message

I'm getting 503 and 504 errors like crazy now.

So about that fix. Here we are nearly 2 weeks later, and it's still happening. Are you still not experiencing them? Because it seems pretty apparant that the rest of us are.

Edit: Looks like one of my post actually did came through. God was it so annoying a few moments ago.

This site is almost unusable at the moment - more pages are timing out or failing to load than are working.

One off issues are unavoidable, but this has been affecting a lot of people for weeks and seems to be getting worse.

Seriously, are these errors going to get fixed anytime soon? I'm getting 504 messages everytime I make a post.

site should be renamed Failspot. I only come here for the forums and it works 10% of the time.

Deserves a medal for one of the slowest loading websites and one for reoccurring errors.

And the unions I've been active in are mostly dead, as they take ages to load, so no one is visiting them anymore. It's sad to see Gamespot loose it's thriving communities. :cry:

The unions in particular are running quite fast for me.

This would be because I get a white, blank screen. I cannot access any union boards because this is all I get.

Another problem to add to the infinite list that GS seems to have developed in a short amount of time.

Orrrr... just make Unions wide layout by default until these [insert overexaggerating number here] of problems are fixed properly?

That "OOPS" screen is something I've been seeing more times than I care to count recently. Plus I keep a blank screen why I try to access a union

I really must complain about Gamespot's speed lately. It's so slow it's a pain to even navigate the site. It takes way too long to read and navigate though blogs, articles, forums, everything. Most of the time I just exit out instead of bothering to crawl through the website.

Also, Gamespot returned an Ooops! error right after I clicked the submit button for this post.

It honestly bewilders me that they're still allowing all these major errors to keep occurring on such a frequent basis. If I was the boss of GameSpot, I'd be firing a few people by now.

EDIT: Honest truth - the "Oops" page has now appeared on Firefox for me as a regularly visited page.
