GameSpot is slow, ads are not blocked

It seems that GameSpot is as slow as heck because of some issues here. Ads still appear even though they are blocked, and the survey pop-up always appears at the login screen where I try to log in. Please fix the issue.

Use Ublock instead of Adblock, works for me.

I had it off before, but after all the top 10 spammage and auto-play videos enough was enough.

Yeah, I'm using uBlock Origins, and it seems that the issue appears to have been fixed... for now.

Well, there it is again! In spite of using the UBlock, GameSpot is STILL slow and the ads are still not blocked, only their pics! Someone really needs to fix the issue, please.

@angeldeb82: for the past few days i cannot even load up the comments section of any articles while ad block is enabled. i am using chrome with the "AdBlock" and "uBlockOrigin" extensions. something is definitely up...

Having same issues using Google Chrome with AdBlock. I cannot post or see other comments in the news articles. Clicking 'View Comments' skips to the article directly below. Will try to contact someone from the engineer team to get this resolved.

@moonco: So we looked into the comments issue, and the reason you're not seeing comments is because it is being blocked by an adblocker. Try using incognito mode and you should be able to view the comments.

What's that? I disable adblock and I still cannot enter the comments section on the article news.

Looks like everything is working now with Google Chrome and the AdBlock extension enabled. Let us know if you are still having problems.
