For some reason, I cannot watch any of the live coverage. I recently received a cablemodem, does it have anythingdo with it?

I've also tried everything in the live streaming sticky, except for firmware, because their really is no support site.

Now visible, the player launches, but sits at ready, it still says you are currently watching, but nothing comes, audio, nor video.

Try re-installing windows media playe. Sometimes that fixes a lot of issues: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/download/AllDownloads.aspx?displang=en&qstechnology=
