Exclusive Subscriber Features

The following are enhancements for current subscriber features or ideas for additional features that should be exclusive to the paying members

Total Access membership should apply on the "sister sites": A lot of subscribers are complaining due to the lack of exclusive features. Some people can't stand ads. GameSpot's "sister sites" have ads all over the place. Not all of the subscriber features on GameSpot could work on the other sites, but features like no ads on any of the sites would work. This would encourage people to upgrade.

My Watched Topics: An option to save a standard notification should be added to the notification permission area. It's a pain having to select which option you would want to be notified by, every time you add a thread to the watched list. There should also be a way to custom organize it, instead of the standard way -- threads that have replies are at the top. You might just want to save a thread for reference, but it would be list in the list. It should also be changed so you don't get a new reply notification when you made the last post in the thread.

There should be a "report error" feature on all of GameSpot's updates

Tagging
Tagging a news update on a game should automatically save the same tags for the same article but for the other console version

The tag section in your profile should be organized: Games, videos, etc. Instead of being a huge clump of text

We should be able to tag: Unions, Union articles, patches, maps, mods

The visibility feature options should show up when you edit a video, not just when you are about to upload one

The video association isn't saved. (When you try to edit a video the association isn't displayed.) This should be fixed

There should be an easier way to publish a video in a Union article

We should be required to tag our uploaded videos: This way it will be easier for us to know if the video has already been uploaded by someone else

Organization: We should be able to sort our videos (from the Videos tab) by category instead of just by last uploaded. A list of videos that we "recommended" should appear.

General Enhancements
The Site Enhancements and Technical Support forum should be turned into a UCB, like "Welcome Newbies". The administrator of those forums would "hire" people to be moderators in that forum. They would help keep the forum organized: close threads and help people out.

I am not sure about the 'put in some thread thing', but, here's my idea how about one of those little floatie [top] thingies on the scroll bar side so I don't have to roll my ball all the way back to the top of the page, I get enough of that on 'myspace', but they never listen to any comments I've made anyway, here's to hoping you guys will! bcashton

I don't know if this is an option already, but how about submitting games who aren't listed in GameSpot? I know there are a very few games who aren't listed, but it still would be nice. I can't find the game "Interstellar Marines" on GameSpot while it is a game. StraiN-ShifTeD

But they do have Interstellar Marines, it is just called Project-Im here, because they haven't updated its title for some reason.

I think we should have some option to invite friends by sending them an email. If I wanna invite somebody I have to write them an e-mail. I am not saying is hard to do but is more user friendly and the easier to do the more people will actually do it.Da1ShrpSh0trGrl

Well, you're the 4th person to support the idea, and that's only people who have come to this forum, which I doubt most GS'ers do.  I'm not sure many people we have to have onboard before it gets considered, but I'm sure the demand is only going to grow.

Well, you're the 4th person to support the idea, and that's only people who have come to this forum, which I doubt most GS'ers do.  I'm not sure many people we have to have onboard before it gets considered, but I'm sure the demand is only going to grow.
