Can someone explain the organizational structure here?

Who's in charge of GameSpot?

And who does GameSpot report to? Is it Red Ventures, CNET, ZDNET, or somebody else?

We're arguing over this over on GameFAQs and nobody seems to know. It was my belief that GameSpot answers to CNET which answers to Red Ventures. Is that not the case?

@ClunkerSlim: Hi there, this forum is mainly for moderation related topics and I am not sure I can answer that 100% correctly. However I think that while there is some crossover of staff, mainly community and technical, each operates fairly independently under Red Ventures.
