Red Sand: Fanmade Mass Effect Film

Has anyone heard of it? Didn't know anything about it until today. Usually I tend to ignore such crap, but that MGS fanmade film done in Italy (don't remember what it's called) by some MGS fans convinced me to pay more attention to fan films. Apparently, Red Sand takes place 35 years before Mass Effect, with Mark Meer starring as Jon Grissom. Looks pretty wicked, but I don't know whether I should be disappointed or not for the fact that Mark Meer is playing as Grissom. I would have picked anyone other than him.
