Possibly the worst first person shooter I've played to date. The game's one saving grace is the large array of interesting weaponry. The controls are clearly this games downfall. Picture a typical shooter screen, weapon in hand, you're ready to shoot the first enemy you see, only problem is you have to steer the hover bike you are sitting on as well. Many minutes of crashing and getting stuck in corners will occur during gameplay. This causes much more frustration than entertainment. The responsiveness of the controller to the hover bike seems to also be lacking. You'll find yourself making a left turn with the controller, only to crash into a drone ship and become disoriented within seconds. There is no auto aim feature so while trying to move forward on the hover bike, weapon in hand, focusing on not crashing the bike, you'll need to target your enemies quickly. The difficulty level of this game is incredibly over powering. It would have been better as an on-foot FPS or on the hover bike with auto aim. There is a large variety of weapons you pick up throughout the game simply by hovering into them. Weapons like a rocket launcher (always good) and a unique weapon that allows you to freeze your enemies in place, to come by and kill them later, this weapon is an excellent advantage in Deathmatch mode. This brings me to the one other good element in Forsaken, the Deathmatch mode which can be a lot of fun, but gets to be too repetitive too quickly. Two players can play against each other in the same map with a horizontal split screen view. Players search and destroy each other through some interesting maps while both vying for the best weaponry available. Overall Forsaken is a terrible game.
