Being a great fan of Roleplaying Games and Forgotten Realms in particular, I purchased this game with a great deal of anticipation. Add to the fact that it's toted as being the product of fantasy writer R.A. Salvatore, it was hard not to get excited about the potential of this game.

However, my biggest problem with this game is that it's just too short. It appeared to me that by the time I started getting a feel for each of the characters involved and their skills, how to utilize them, to switch between them, the game was nearing its finale.

The actual gameplay itself was fun and integrated the elements of the D&D campaign setting Forgotten Realms fairly well. The plot, although short, was enjoyable to pass through.

In terms of other elements such as graphics and sound, they were fairly good, though again I felt as though I never had enough time to fully get a sense of how the creator's used either to any purpose.

In my opinion, unless you're a great fan of Salvatore or Forgotten Realms ... rent it. If you are a fan... it's a toss up. You very well might finish it during a rental period and only consume a handful of dollars which could otherwise be spent on a game with more stamina.
