A decent portable game until the cpu decides to "cheat"!
I was itching for a PSP racing game and came across this by mere chance. The game itself is fun. You get to play all types of Ford and Land Rover trucks and CUVs and you do get a lot of different types of races to do - some harder then others. The game itself is quite long but not that difficult which is fine. It's not a simulator but a pure arcade racer.
The problem I have with this game the miraculous come backs that npc cars during the race can have. More than once I was way ahead of the pack when suddendly a car would go at light speed in front of me. When do 3 stage racing that your pts ranking makes you advance to the next race this can be frustrating as you need to restart all stages of that race.
Your opponents also have the silly idea to swivle left and right constantly so you can't pass them.
It's too bad because I could of easily given this game an 8.0 but have to give 6.5 because of these silly issues. Graphics are decent, sound is good controls are simple but you can frustrate easily because of these problems. Still, if you find it cheap, it's fun to play when you have time to spare.
