Championship Manager wish they could make a game like this!
GAMEPLAY 9/10
You can take control of pretty much any club or country worldwide. Avoid relegation or qualify for Europe, win the league or get into the world cup. It's different for every club. You can choose your training, fine players, get a last minute deal in, unsettle a player at another club. It's very realistic. You could find yourself at a top flight Swedish club only to be offered a chance of a lifetime to take the helm at Bayern Munich. For football fans this is a must buy, you will throw away simulations like Fifa.
GRAPHICS 9/10
It's pretty much a giant spreadsheet, but it looks smart. The mini 2d pitch is nice and it's easy to navigate.
SOUND 2/10
Non-existent. The only sounds are the crowd in a game. It's a silent game. I can think of some features that could have been added for some sound but this doesn't take anything away from gameplay.
VALUE 10/10
It has plenty of replay value and is definetly worth a purchase. All football fans should own this, probably as close to management you will find anywhere! 140hrs for me and the only reason it isnt higher is the fact I purchased 07. ------
I give this game an 8.5. It is a well done, realistic and exciting football game, something very different to games like Fifa. It takes skill and concentration. Recommended to all football fans, this is a brilliant game.
