A game that shows off beautiful graphics and intriguing gameplay is spoiled by a lack of replayability and a short story

Well you can tell from my title that this game has some astounding graphics and gameplay, but is let down by a short story, and unfortunately the story is the only part of the game.

You start off in the game as a single petal, you must then use the PS3 Controllers SIXAXIS control to direct the petal towards flowers, going near the flowers will open them and cause more petals to join you, the basic aim of the game is to find every flower in the level, which will then open secret flowers.

There are 7 levels in the game i believe (8 including the credits), i have 7 of the levels, however i think there is a special unlockable level for finding all secrets, as there is a hole in the shelf, and when using level select, the camera stops when it reaches it, but displays nothing.

The basic game can be completed in a single day with no problems, i would say it would take around 2-3 hours to complete all the levels if you didnt go for the secrets. If you decided to find all the secrets, then add a few more hours to that, unless your using a walkthrough.

The levels take place in various situations, the first level takes place in a sunny meadow, the second in a slightly darker and dull meadow, the third takes place in a field with windmills with the sun setting, the fourth takes place at night, at the end of the level you see some pylons which have been destroyed by a massive thunder storm, the fifth level takes place when you are journeying to the city avoiding dangerous pylons whilst picking up as many flowers as you can, the sixth level takes place in the city, this is possibly the hardest level to completely complete, as it requires you to do a little bit of everything that you learnt in the previous levels, and its a very large level, so finding everything will be hard. Only the 5th and 6th levels have objects that can endanger you.

I was sort of blown away by this game at first, the trial version was released on the PSN Store a few days ago, which lets you play the first level. So i quickly purchased the full game, i'm not entirely sure it was worth £6.29, £4 would have been a more reasonable price. Its a good game for a couple of hours, but its a repetitive game with a serious lack of levels, so once you find all the secrets, theres absolutely nothing to do in the game except play the levels again.

A few good points being the beautiful graphics and landscaping, a nice and relaxing soundtrack, and an innovative game idea, believe it or not, its kind of fun flying around as a petal with a train of a few hundred petals following you, sort of like the snake game apart from you can't kill yourself.

If this game had had a few more levels and maybe even another game mode or multiplayer, it would have greatly increased my opinion of it. Even though it is an arcade game, i think it should have had a lot more content.
