"Flipper lag" says it all

User Rating: 1 | Flipnic: Ultimate Pinball PS2

The game shows a lot of potential, but having a delay with the flippers ruins the experience completely. I know this is not related to the console or setup because I've played the game on both a PS2 and PS3, using both a new HD LCD television and an older Sony CRT. Only the flippers are ever delayed. Menu movement, audio, even controlling the bumpers and jumping the ball happen exactly when you expect it to.

It doesn't matter how much production goes into a game, the core mechanics have to work and having the flipper delay means it will never play like you expect it to. Perhaps the programmers of the game never played pinball on an actual table?
