Cars have a great feel, races are savage, and this is brilliant fun!

Imagine racing game where it's heavily encouraged to hit other cars like in burnout, but much more realistic, with feel like games from Codemaster. It's a recipe for brilliant racing!

The cars handle well. They feel heavy, and at full graphics, this game looks absolutely gorgeous! You'll want to press "pause" just to be able to admire the physx effects of the dirt, water and other objects. If you liked Burnout, but want something more realistic, this is it. You can earn nitro boost, but it's far from being as extreme as in Burnout. A good perk is the possibility to buy and sell cars in career mode, but also to tune them.

Races are great, although can be slightly repetitive, they have brilliant jumps and short cuts to find. The crash-out mode is great fun as well: imagine you're Evil Kenivil in a car and you crash out your window and use your body to hit various things or go through hoops, basic daredevil stuff of the physx engine.

Last point is that you're always up against the same drivers, which each have their own personalities and driving style. It's a pro sometimes and a con others.

It's just a good fun game, but I do feel variety in the tracks are missing. I just wish there were more urban wasteland levels, and a little less of the ordinary looking dirt races. That would be the main flaw of this otherwise splendid game.
