Good for a rental as long as you never played Ken's Rage 1.

I'm keeping this short and sweet. If you like Dynasty Warriors, then you'll like this game. However, there is little change from the previous installment. There is the addition of Dream Mode, where you can play as the characters in newly written stories. But Legend Mode is more like an expansion pack to Ken's Rage 1. It tells a little more of the story than the previous game. Other changes include taking away the ability to jump, and the upgrade system was changed for the worse by including some confusing scroll system. Personally, I got bored with it quickly. The controls can be frustrating at times, the new dodge button only seemed to work half the time, and the sound is generic butt-rock.
If you've played FotNS: KR, there really is no reason to play this one. It's not a horrible game for fans, but it's a pretty mediocre one at that. I gave it an extra .5 because I felt the combat was a little smoother by removing the jump button.
